Overview

Comedy Central returns with a stellar line up to kick start the year. This is a fortnightly event for a bit of comic relief from your studies.

Headlined by Nathan Caton

Nathan Caton has been active on the UK comedy circuit since the tender age of 19. He excels in combining both personal, confessional material with up-to-date social and political anecdotes. This has won him numerous credits and plaudits over the years and has made him one of the hottest rising young stars on the circuit.

‘He specialises in laidback, on-the-nose material, chopping down fools of all colours, both in day-to-day life and in the media’ – Guardian

With guests:

Phil Jerrod

“Such a brilliant set – well observed, well written and funny obvs!”
Josie Long

“A comic whose instinctive mastery of his form immediately marks him out as one to watch.”
The Guardian

“Fulsome of beard, cynical of outlook and lyrical of rant, Jerrod blends insightful, despairing wit with delightfully vivid flights of the imagination.”
The Scotsman

and your host for the night Joel Dommett,

Joel has had a hugely exciting career since starting stand up comedy in 2007. He was the face of MTV in 2012 and presented their daily news bulletins.

He also worked on the live new Channel 4 aftershow, Live in Chelsea, How to Survive a Disaster Movie (Channel 5) and the hugely successful Impractical Jokers (BBC3).
