Welcome to the Committee Hub. As a committee member, it's really important you have access to everything you need whether that’s accreditation, paperwork and resources, contact details, or society event information.

Being a committee member benefits you as an individual by not only enhancing your experience, but also boosting your employability. From mental health and welfare training to overseeing meetings, organising events and budgeting, there are so many important skills you gain from being a committee member. If you want to find out more about how you can use your committee skills to boost your CV, check out our Bucks Award sessions.

The Accreditation system helps to track your society progress against accreditation points that will help your societies run smoothly, provide a meaningful time to its members, have a positive impact on the wider community and help committee members build a strong society and CV for the future.

All the information you need for completing your society progress tracker can be found by downloading the Society Progress Tracker Explanation document which outlines the various sections of the Accreditation system and how to submit your progress. You can also download your society development plan to help you explore ideas and plan out the year ahead for your society.

All of the documentation you will need for your society can be found in the policies and resources section of our website.

Please note: We strongly advise you to check your academic commitments before signing up to any extracurricular activity. If you see sessions or courses that interest you, but you are unable to attend because of course related commitments, please contact susocieties@bucks.ac.uk and we will see if alternative arrangements can be made or we will be able to inform you of other upcoming opportunities.
