Welcome to the Committee Hub. As a committee member it's really important you have access to everything you need, whether that’s accreditation, Club progress tracker, paperwork, or contact details. The pre-requisite paperwork that all clubs need to fill in before the start of the year are the Club Constitution, Club Development Plan (which include your 5 own goals), Club Minisite, and Risk Assessment.
Being a committee member benefits you as an individual by not only enhancing your experience, but also boosting your employability. From mental health and welfare training to overseeing meetings, organising events and budgeting, there are so many important skills you gain from being a committee member. If you want to find out more about how you can use your committee skills to boost your CV, check out our Bucks Award sessions.
The Accreditation system helps to track your club progress against accreditation points that will help your clubs run smoothly, provide a meaningful time to its members, have a positive impact on the wider community and help committee members build a strong club and CV for the future.
All the information you need for completing your Club Progress Tracker can be found by downloading the Club Progress Tracker and Explanation which outlines the various sections of the Accreditation system and how to submit your progress. You can also download your development plan to help you explore ideas and plan out the year ahead for your club.
The University has a gym, located in the main Gateway building, at the High Wycombe Campus. For more information about opening times, classes and membership options, please visit the Gateway Gym page on the University website.
As part of the Big Deal, the Union owns the playing shirts which will be given out to you on the day of your game and then returned to your captain after the game to enable them to be washed and ready for the following game. We stock all the shorts, skorts and socks that you will need to play – if you come to the Students' Union reception you can buy them from there.
If you would like to buy any other personalised Bucks stash then you are welcome to buy it directly from our new provider Akuma on their online shop. Akuma is currently made from 70% recycled fabrics but by the end of 2021, all Akuma’s leisurewear and teamwear that is made in the UK will be manufactured using 100% recycled fabrics. This is a large part of why Akuma has been chosen as our kit supplier.
All of the documentation you will need for your club can be found in the policies and resources section of our website.
