What are Executive Officers?
We have eight Executive Officer positions. Each officer is responsible for a specific student group, helping the Union to gain a better understanding of their experience here at Bucks and make sure that they benefit equally from the services of the Students’ Union.
Four of the roles are self-defining. Only you can say if you should be running or voting in those elections on the basis that you are self-define as a Woman, a student with a disability, as Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic (BAME) or LGBTQ+. The other four roles, International (paying international student fees), Mature (starting your course at the age of 21 or above), Part-time & Commuting and Postgraduate Executive Officers, are all based on your point of entry to the University. The Executive Officer roles are all paid positions and are performed alongside your studies.
