This Comedy Central night features the brilliant Geoff Norcott, Gareth Richards and John Robins!
This is a fortnightly event for a bit of comic relief from your studies.
Come down to Bucks Students' Union for a night of relaxed but hilarious comedy. With acts from all over the country performing it's a great chance to de-stress and catch some TV comedic gold as well as some great drinks deals!
Geoff Norcott:
You might have seen Geoff pop up in the credits of any number of top comedy shows, including 8 out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo, C4’s Alternative Election, The Sarah Millican Television Programme and The British Comedy Awards. Geoff has been given four-stars and called "an absolute tonic" byThe Telegraph, and "a comedian with a big future" by The Mirror.
Gareth Richards:
Gareth’s hilarious stand-up, silly jokes and gorgeously low-key comedy songs have made him an instant favourite on the comedy circuit. In 2010 he was nominated for Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer. Gareth has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News, Live at the Electric (BBC3) and in January performed live on Radio 1 on two separate occasions. Gareth co-hosted Frank Skinner’s Sony award-winning Absolute Radio show for two years and supported Frank on his 2014 tour.
John Robins:
John is a comedian, broadcaster and voice over artist based in London. He presents a weekly show on Radio X (formerly XFM) alongside friend and fellow comedian Elis James. 'The Elis James and John Robins Show' podcast has gained them a devoted following, and is a fixture in the top twenty comedy podcast charts. John began performing stand-up in 2005 and was an alumni of the legendary 'Bristol Comedy Flat' alongside Russell Howard, Jon Richardson and Mark Olver.
