Activity Leader - Summer 2019

Weymouth English Centre specialises in English language courses for teenagers aged between 13 and 17 from all over the world. Our courses are in Weymouth, a popular seaside resort on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site in Dorset, in the southwest of England.

Students stay with carefully selected hosts. There are English lessons on weekday mornings and a full programme of activities in the afternoons, evenings and on Saturdays.

Our team of leaders accompany the students on all their activities. There are sports, visits to places of interest, a trip to London and much more ... and these are all included in the price. With our unique online programme planning system, you can plan your own programme of activities before you even come to Weymouth!

Currently recruiting Activity Leader

We are looking for Activity Leaders, especially those with experience in sport and/or dance, to join our team for the first part or all of the summer of 2019 between 30th June and 10th August. Being an Activity Leader at WEC is an exciting and rewarding job. Among other things it involves meeting our students at Heathrow and bringing them to Weymouth, accompanying them on their busy programme of activities, ensuring that they are safe and dealing with any problems they may have.

The successful applicant will have:

  • the ability to motivate and lead groups
  • dedication and flexibility
  • attention to detail

Pay: starting rate £8.25 per hour plus holiday pay

Hours:guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week

Dates: for the first part or all of the summer of 2019 between 28th June and 10th August

Location: Weymouth, Dorset
