Weymouth English Centre specialises in English language courses for teenagers aged between 13 and 17 from all over the world. Our courses are in Weymouth, a popular seaside resort on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site in Dorset, in the southwest of England.

Students stay with carefully selected hosts. There are English lessons on weekday mornings and a full programme of activities in the afternoons, evenings and on Saturdays.

Our team of leaders accompany the students on all their activities. There are sports, visits to places of interest, a trip to London and much more ... and these are all included in the price. With our unique online programme planning system, you can plan your own programme of activities before you even come to Weymouth!

Currently recruiting Senior Activity Leader

Being a Senior Activity Leader at WEC is an exciting and rewarding job. The main responsibilities of the job are:

  • coordinating the programme of activities and trips
  • ensuring that Activity Leaders are properly prepared
  • managing the staff rota
  • holding regular meetings / feedback sessions with the Activity Leaders and assessing their performance
  • holding regular meetings for the foreign group leaders
  • coordinating the testing and class allocation each Monday morning
  • coordinating the student programme planning sessions
  • keeping records of the accounts

The successful applicant will have:

  • excellent management skills

  • excellent planning and organisational skills
  • the ability to motivate a team of staff
  • attention to detail
  • a friendly and professional manner
  • excellent time-keeping

Pay: from £400 per week plus holiday pay

Hours: approximately 40 hours per week

Dates: 26th June to 10th August

Location: Weymouth, Dorset
