We are looking for a part-time centre assistant duties will include

• To serve alcohol to patrons of the centre in accordance with the relevant licensing legislation, and to follow any instructions given by the centre’s staff who hold personal alcohol licenses.
• To assist in the day to day running of the community centre
• Ensure that the bar area is clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure that the fridges are restocked and rotated before the end of your shift.
• Ensure that the centre is presented in a reasonable standard at all times, which may require you to undertake light cleaning duties in the centre.
• Ensure that the toilets are well presented
• You are asked to make reasonable judgements as to whether you should refuse to serve alcohol to any person(s) who present signs of intoxication. If in doubt, you should seek advice form the centre manager, trustee or a licensed member of staff.
• Arrive in time for the start of your shift
• Help hirers or groups using the centre as required
• Ensure that the centre complies with noise limits as issued by the local authority, which may mean asking hirers playing music to reduce sound levels in the main hall and to curb any exuberant and noisy behaviour in the centres outside areas.
