Additional skills

You are here:

Our Additional Skills Training Programme will really help bolster your CV and make you more employable

It’s vital that when you graduate you have more on your CV than just your degree. To boost the employability of our students, we offer a range of skills-based workshops and sessions for all students.

Each year, we try to expand our programme of training sessions to cover the topics that you have asked for. In the past we have held sessions on public speaking, negotiation, chairing meetings, interview skills, and simply how to put your new transferable skills into your CV.

We try to make sure there is something for everyone, with all sessions being completely free - so get involved and gain a new skill for your CV. If you don’t see something that takes your fancy, get in touch and let us know what skills you would like to develop. To see the full list of what's available, check out the what's on section. For more information or to suggest something new, please email sutraining@bucks.ac.uk or call into the Students' Union offices.
