Welcome to the ‘Register your interest’ page ahead of the 2019 Bucks Students’ Union Elections. This year’s elections will be taking place between Monday 4 March and Friday 8 March 2019. On this page you can register your interest for the various student leadership positions available within the Students’ Union, gather more information about the roles themselves and determine which ones you think you’d be best suited to before nominations officially open at 10am on Monday 14 January.
Student leadership roles up for election include our three full-time, paid Sabbatical Officer positions: President, Vice President Education and Welfare and Vice President Student Involvement.
We also have our eight part-time, voluntary Executive Officer positions. These are broken into two categories with four positions available in each. The first category is based around how you define as an individual and the four positions are: Executive Officer for BME Students’, Executive Officer for LGBT+ Students’, Executive Officer for Women Students’ and Executive Officer for Disabled Students.
The second category is determined on your mode of entry to the University and the four positions are: Executive Officer for International Students, Mature Students’ Executive Officer, Postgraduate Students’ Executive Officer and Part-time Students’ Executive Officer.
Finally, we have Student Trustee and NUS Delegate positions available for election.
If you’d like to receive more information about any of the above roles, simply complete the form below and a member of staff from the Representation team will be in touch with more information.
