The majority of you will have to work whilst studying at university, whether that’s to earn play money or simply pay for food and bills.
Aside from the earning potential, the transferable skills you can gain from a part-time job will be a great start to your chosen career and provide essential, detailed experience for your CV. If you’re looking to add more skills to your CV, we offer certified courses, skill sessions and essential qualifications to help boost your employability. To book on a session or course with us, head over to our skills page and see what we have on offer, if you don’t see the course you’re interested in, drop us an email and we’ll do our best to organise it for you.
We have many opportunities of paid work at the Students’ Union throughout the year and all our current vacancies can be found on our website but if there isn’t anything that suits you, please see the ‘vacancies’ section below for part-time opportunities with other local organisations.

Employers
To advertise jobs through the Union, or the JobShop board, is completely free of charge. Simply email the details to sujobs@bucks.ac.uk. We are only able to advertise opportunities that meet the criteria of all our Students’ Union policies and values.
All of our students have different timetables and course commitments can be difficult to rearrange so we are able to promote any opportunities that are flexible. A full-time degree means full-time hours, therefore it’s imperative that students only work part-time with contracts, we’d suggest, up to 18 hours per week.
Please note, we are unable to advertise unpaid internships, full-time roles or graduate roles on this page.
