Student Editor - Bucks SU Newspaper
£50 per edition
Working closely with the Students’ Union Graphic Designer, the Editor oversees the organisation and production of the Bucks Student newspaper.
2024-25 Students' Union Development Ambassador
Working closely with the Training and Development Coordinator and course reps to ensure we are providing a diverse, developmental and fun offer, you would be expected to be passionate about self-development and driven to help provide suitable opportunities for all members of Bucks Students’ Union.
Student Ambassador 2024/25
Available roles within the Ambassador Programme:
Green - As Green Ambassador you are required to liaise the Students’ Union and represent the interests of sustainability around campus and look towards developing further plans on green issues at Bucks.
Food Sustainability - As a Food Sustainability Ambassador, you will be responsible for the organisation, recruitment, development, and management of the organised projects, with the opportunity to run your own events as well as be an ambassador for the Students’ Union.
Volunteer - Volunteer Ambassadors are responsible for providing aid towards volunteering opportunities within the university.

Sport for Fun Ambassadors 2024/25
As a Sport for Fun ambassador role, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the recreational offer within a specific sport. The aim of Sport for Fun is to get as many students involved in a sporting activity and retaining these students throughout their time at university. The focus is on delivering quality recreational sessions that everyone can get involved in. You would be expected to be passionate about your sport and driven to help provide suitable sporting opportunities for all students at Buckinghamshire New University.

Minibus Driver
£13.17 per hour, part-time, term-time
Bucks Students’ Union operates a Wednesday and Friday evening bus service between the main High Wycombe Campuses for students and the University. The role will involve picking students up from Brook Street and Hughenden and shuttling them to the University on a Wednesday and Friday night/early morning.
Bucks Buddy
This is a unique project funded by the University who are aiming to make the transition into Higher Education as easy as possible by preparing, supporting, reassuring and welcoming new students to Bucks from the moment that they apply, helping them integrate during the first few weeks and then on until the beginning of the January term. In addition, we hope to convert more students that apply to Bucks to those that become Bucks students.
