Skype

You can now have an appointment with an advisor using Skype at both High Wycombe and Uxbridge Campuses. To make an appointment you will need to first contact the Advice Centre to arrange a time with an advisor and state at the time of booking that you would like to use the Skype service. If an advisor is available, a session will be booked for you.

Please ensure that before you book an appointment using Skype that you have the service available on your computer, phone, or tablet device. You will also need to ensure that you can be heard during the appointment, and if using a web camera that your camera is of a sufficient standard for an appointment to be held. To install Skype on your device please visit skype.com

In order to get the most out of your interview, please note the following:
  • Please be ready to start the appointment promptly at the agreed time.
  • Make sure that you are in a private, quiet and appropriate location. The interview will not go ahead if there are other people in the room (unless agreed beforehand). Please make sure any background noise/distractions are kept to a minimum and turn your mobile to silent if you are not using it to make the Skype call.
  • Email any relevant documents to the adviser beforehand.
  • Dress appropriately.
  • Let us know as soon as possible if you are having technical issues and will not be able to go ahead or continue with the interview.

The recording of interviews is strictly forbidden.
