Globetrotters events will be dotted throughout the year, bring you a taste of other cultures & countries. As it's October now, we will be celebrating the world-famous Oktoberfest, with beer, food, music and games.
A Freshers' Fortnight favourite, which we promise you will be gutted if you miss (ask any second or third year), this event will be hosted by the amazing Oompah Brass (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=law6BMW8i3s) who will provide the music and games!
We will arrange the Venue so there are lines of long tables, adorned with the classic blue and white Oktoberfest design, and free bowls of mini-pretzels and German sausages. Two-pint steins will be available for a deposit (you can keep your stein at the end if you wish) and local brewery Rebellion will be providing beer, cider and ale for you to fill them with (there are non-alcoholic drinks available too). Our lovely bar staff will be dressing the part- so feel free to join in and wear Lederhosen or a Dirndl!

*The student will need to sign the guest in upon entry and will be responsible for the guest's actions, so make sure it's someone you know and trust! Students can sign in up to TWO guests.
During Freshers, first years with a wristband will gain priority entry. A wristband will allow two non-student paying guests to gain priority with the wristband holder.
