As people age, their sight and hearing can deteriorate, resulting in isolation, frustration and confusion.
Simple changes we can make, in terms of communication and how we present information, can help alleviate some of the issues.
If you work (or are likely to work) with older people, come on this ‘hands on and interactive’ course to firstly gain an insight into how age related sight and hearing loss affects people and secondly to learn new skills to improve communication and access to services.
The course is unique as it is delivered by a tutor with hearing loss herself.
