National Student Pride weekend returns for its 6th year in London, spanning over 3 days during 21-23 February 2020 With over 1700 students in attendance from more than 100 different universities across the country, it’s bound to be bigger and better than ever before! Hosted at the University of Westminster, Student Pride Weekend is a fantastic opportunity for Bucks students to get involved in a unique and exciting event.
The three-day spectacle provides a number of activities and opportunities for all attendees to take part in. Over the course of the weekend, you will have the chance to meet with panels, sit in on seminars tackling issues at the forefront of the community and attend the largest free LGBT careers fair with head-hunters from over 50 different corporations and community organisations.
National Student Pride weekend has been named Best LGBT Event of the Year and is internationally recognised as an agenda-setting event, proving time and again that it is leading in breaking taboos and empowering young minds.
For many, this could be your first pride and for others, you could have been going since its creation. Either way, you’re guaranteed to be in a safe space and have a great time celebrating such a significant event. As a non-profit organisation, all proceeds go back into keeping the event as accessible as possible.
A mini-bus will be leaving the High Wycombe campus on Saturday 22 February at 10am and will collect all students from London on Sunday 23 February and return to campus. Accommodation and further details will be sent to you closer to the time.
To make sure you can be there, we will be providing FREE return transport, accommodation and tickets for you to attend from Saturday to Sunday.
We require a £10 deposit to reserve your place however this will be returned to you once you have attended the event!
