Student Learning Achievement will be running a series of six online workshops providing essential academic skills support to students.
This session will cover: How to Structure your Essays and Paragraphs
These short sessions are aimed at students who speak English as a second language, though are open to all, including home students.
Each workshop is based around a niche practical academic theme (e.g. writing/listening), though all place a heavy focus on dealing with language-oriented challenges that students typically face in such areas.
Sessions will follow this format:
- First hour: interactive online lecture (via BBL Collaborate) to cover main niche content area for that week
- Remaining 15-30 mins: Q+A session during which students can find out more about the topic covered / ask questions and discuss related academic and general study topics with tutors / each other
