The Objects of the MMCP (Marlow Museum) are to advance the education of the public by the establishment and maintenance of a museum for the collection, preservation, conservation, explanation, interpretation and display of artefacts, specimens, historical and other records relating to the communities of Bisham, Great Marlow, Little Marlow, Marlow Bottom, Marlow Town and Medmenham.
It is hoped the museum will benefit from the publicity created by the volunteers on the stand, and from any sales and donations taken.
The community will benefit from an interesting activity and a chance to talk to the student volunteers about the museum.
Depending on the activity chosen, children at the event will learn more about local history, or develop an interest in visiting the museum.
