Overview

Beaconsfield Model Village, well known as Bekonscot Model Village is an original Model village set in the 1930's. The village is built on a scale of one inch to one foot and features six different model villages, a large Gauge 1 model railway, a ride-on railway, remote controlled boats, castles, lakes and even industries. The whole site is set in 1.5 acres of beautifully maintained gardens.

Bekonscot is a popular tourist destination and a great way to spend a family day out. Visitors can explore the miniature world and see what England might have looked like in the 1930s. The village is full of charming and intricate details, and there's always something new to discover.

Transport is provided from High Wycombe campus to the Model Village. You will be collected 2 hours after you were dropped off. 

 

This activity is good for students wanting to learn about the hsitory of Buckinghamshire.
