Beyond the sirens: The unique and evolving nature of paramedicine with Professor Will Broughton.

The lecture will capture modern paramedics' knowledge, skills, behaviours, and extensive development, enabling them to provide sophisticated clinical care. Looking to the future of paramedicine, we will discuss emerging trends, technological advancements, and the ever-expanding scope of practice – underscoring the need for ongoing professional development, inter-professional collaboration, and policy support to further elevate the profession

Inaugural lectures are celebration of our academics’ outstanding research excellence and an achievement of contributions to their field of research. These celebratory events will enable the University to come together to give conferment to academics who have achieved the accolade of Professorship and Associate Professorship. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

The lecture starts at 17:00 in the Gateway Lecture Theatre, after the lecture at 18:00-19:00 there is a reception on the Mezanine in Beeches.
