Physiotherapist - First Team

Job Purpose:

The physiotherapist will be a key member of the first team group and will be responsible for providing physiotherapy support on matchdays and selected training sessions. We hope that the relationship with players will build to providing general advice regarding their health and wellbeing.

Responsible to the Club Chairperson:

Required to attend all first team matches (usually Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evenings) together with training sessions (Tuesday and/or Thursday)

Start date: July 2025 for pre-season training

Qualities we are looking for in applicants:

The role is likely to particularly suit a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience to further their career. They would be required to be self-motivated but able to work as part of a team. We hope they will develop a strong empathy with the players and create a mutually respectful relationship with team management. They will be expected to be highly competent in assessing and treating players whose wellbeing is our highest priority. Any applicant must be enthusiastic about the role and dependable in any commitments made.

Payment:

HGFC will pay a fee for all matches attended plus any training sessions.
