Seasonal Actors & Event Staff Wanted for Pumpkinfest, Halloween & Christmas at The Walled Garden & The Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe

Location: The Walled Garden, Chorley Road, West Wycombe

Dates: Pumpkinfest 13th -29th October // Halloween 18th - 2nd Nov // Santa's Grotto 21st Nov - 24th Dec

Job Description:

We are seeking fun loving, enthusiastic, presentable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team for the upcoming seasonal events. We have plenty of roles available from front door hosting to jump-scare acting! This is a big recruitment project and we are a small team, so please read before applying!

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Service: Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Take payments where necessary.

Event Support: Help with setting up and maintaining event spaces, including Halloween decorations, pumpkin displays, and Christmas tree arrangements.

Heavy Lifting: Assist with the physical setup and takedown of event materials, including moving pumpkins, setting up displays, and handling Christmas trees.

Presentation: Maintain a presentable and professional appearance at all times costume work may be required.

Confidence: Engage with visitors confidently, providing information and assistance as needed.

General Helpfulness: Be proactive in offering help to visitors and colleagues to ensure smooth event operations.

Qualifications:

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical tasks.

- Confidence in interacting with a diverse range of visitors.

- Flexibility to work during peak times, including weekends and holidays.

- Previous event or customer service experience is a plus.

- For acting roles - acting experience!

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 45 per week
