Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Support chefs with cooking tasks, ensuring meals are prepared to high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely.
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal setup and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are essential.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods are advantageous.
- Understanding of food safety standards and practices is necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
