Bar staff Job description:

The Bar staff is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. This role requires multitasking, effective communication and good customer service skills. All training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer preferences are met.
  • Bar Maintenance:
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, sinks, and floors.
  • Cash Handling:
  • Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and tips.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cash register area.
  • Teamwork:
  • Work alongside other bartenders, servers, and security personnel to ensure smooth bar operations.

Cloakroom attendant

The cloakroom attendant is responsible for managing the storage and safe return of guests' coats, bags, and other personal items. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a secure and organized environment in the cloakroom area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner as they arrive at the cloakroom.
  • Assist guests by taking their coats, bags, or other personal items and issuing a ticket or tag for retrieval.
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to ensure guests feel welcomed and comfortable.
  • Item Management:
  • Safely store guests' items in the cloakroom area, ensuring they are properly tagged and organized.
  • Ensure that coats and belongings are stored in a secure manner to prevent loss or damage.
  • Keep track of all items using a ticketing system or log to ensure easy retrieval when requested by guests.
  • Item Retrieval:
  • Return guests' belongings promptly when they present their ticket or request their items.
  • Handle items with care and attention to avoid damage or confusion.
  • Cloakroom Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean and organized cloakroom area, ensuring items are neatly stored and the space is free of clutter.
  • Regularly check for any lost items or tickets that may be misplaced.
  • Ensure that coat hooks, hangers, and storage areas are in good condition.
  • Time Management:
  • Manage a high volume of guests during peak hours efficiently and calmly.
  • Ensure quick and accurate processing of items during busy times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
