We at Lions Sports Academy are looking for qualified and experienced Rugby coaches looking for some part time work locally coaching children over a few evenings and Sundays.
At Lions Sports Academy we want to make a difference in children and young people’s lives, giving them the chance to develop as individuals, not only through physical activity but mentally and emotionally as well, with the chance to socialise, create, play, solve problems and learn new life skills. We are hugely passionate about building confidence and relationships through sport while offering engaging and enjoyable experiences to help them be the best version of themselves.
We do this through our passionate and professional delivery of coaching support to Schools, Sports Clubs and organisations, building relationships with them as well as the children and young adults we try to inspire. You will be the ‘front’ motivating, positive role model, developing children and young adults.
You will be responsible for the delivery and planning of high quality coaching sessions for nominated Schools and/or Sports clubs.
These will evolve over time but the main areas of focus to begin with will be:
-To plan fun engaging sessions which show the progression of each individual
-To have clear transparent communication with Lions
-Working independently, managing your own resources and professional development
-Dealing professionally with Schools and/or Sports clubs
-Reporting feedback to students/players, staff and parents
-Taking initiative and leading on delegated areas of responsibility
-Ensuring a professional appearance and approach to work
-Promoting equality and diversity in sport, and active health and wellbeing
-To advertise Lions coaches and courses where appropriate
