If you have the energy and enthusiasm to assist us in achieving our goal of making life better for our students, then we have the ideal opportunity for you to join our Student Activities team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working in the voluntary sector and an awareness of issues surrounding volunteering. They will have the ability to manage short, medium and long term projects and will lead our work on sustainability.
The post holder will need to form strong, enduring partnerships with local volunteering organisations in order to establish a broad range of placement opportunities for our members. Our strategic ambition to establish an accredited volunteering programme at the University, embedded in the curriculum, will be a key responsibility of this role.
For the right candidate, and subject to the completion of a development programme and certain targets, there is the potential to progress into a more senior role within 18 months.
