School Officer

School Officers collate information on the student experience in their school, liaising with student reps to ensure that you have a sound understanding of the areas for improvement affecting students across the range of courses within your school, alongside areas of good practice, and feeding this back to the Students’ Union and University.

You will also be required to help the Representation team throughout the year with various admin tasks associated with the student rep programme. These include collating feedback for Programme Committee Meetings and communicating regularly with student reps in your School. Full details will be provided to those appointed.

We are looking for School Officers across the seven larger schools:

• Art, Design and Performance
• Aviation and Security
• Business and Law
• Creative and Digital Industries
• Health and Social Care Professions
• Human and Social Sciences
• Nursing and Midwifery

The number of School Officers recruited depends each year on student numbers and the breadth of work to complete.

School Officers are rewarded £350 upon completion of all responsibilities.
