Are you a strong, talented swimmer?

Would you like to train to become a qualified swimming teacher and learn while you earn?

If yes, we would be interested in hearing from you.

We are Neil Bailey Swimming; a well-established local business with family values and an incredible track record of success with thousands of people, from 3 years upwards. We share our passion for swimming through motivation, encouragement and support in all our teaching, combined with high levels of customer care.

We are growing our network of available sites within the area (including High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Lane End and Hazlemere) and are looking for someone who is a strong swimmer and eager to learn, to motivate, encourage and support people of all ages to learn to swim to join us working scheduled part-time hours between 3 and 19 per week during term time plus opportunities during school holidays.

Our ethos of teaching people to swim as if they were members of our own family is reflected in every aspect of how we work; teamwork, high standards of customer care and sharing our passion of swimming for life with our swimmers.

This role will equip you with skills that will not only be used for this role; you can take these skills with you throughout your life and career.

No qualifications are required, as we will provide training to get you qualified to the SEQ Level 1 swimming teaching qualification.

What you WILL need to do this role is have a passion for swimming, be a quick learner and team player, reliable and adaptable, excellent communication skills, patience and an enthusiastic, energetic and motivational approach. As you will be working with children, these roles require a full DBS check.

You will be supported so that you will be able to:

  • Follow a scheme of work to deliver group and private lessons during term time and holiday courses.
  • Carry out risk assessments and maintain safety standards.
  • Deliver lessons appropriate for the ability of the swimmers working to improve and build on their existing skills.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure high quality standards are achieved.

Please upload a basic CV and a covering note explaining why you're interested in joining Neil Bailey Swimming. We'll then get in touch to arrange a conversation.
