Big News for Students – Circuit Laundry Update!

We’re excited to share some fantastic news for students living in Brook Street, Windsor House and Hughenden accommodation. Thanks to the petition led by our Student Voice Officers Ellie and Ben, along with the power of your feedback, we’ve been able to secure some big improvements to your laundry service. 

Here’s what’s changing: 

• The cost of an individual laundry pack (one wash + one dry) will drop from £5 to £3.90, making laundry more affordable for everyone. 

• Every residential student will receive 15 free laundry packs across the year (5 per term), giving you a huge saving and making life a little bit easier. 

• The existing machines will be reconfigured to allow for the free credits. 

• A brand-new contract with Circuit Laundry is about to be signed, which will bring new machines and refurbished laundrettes over the next few months. 

This is a fantastic win for students, your voices have been heard, and together we’ve been able to make a real, positive change to your student experience. 

A huge thank you also goes to our strong collaboration with the University and the Estates team, whose continued support, commitment, and willingness to act on student feedback have made it possible for these changes to happen efficiently, promptly, and in a way that truly benefits our student community. 

Remember, this only happened because students spoke up. So please keep sharing your feedback with us, whether it’s about laundry, accommodation, or any other part of your university experience. When you speak up, we listen, and together we can make Bucks even better.
