Hi everyone!
Joe here!
This Movember, I’m taking on a double challenge running 5K every single day throughout November and attempting to grow a moustache — all in support of an incredible cause.
Movember is all about starting conversations that matter — encouraging men to open up, check in with each other, and take their health seriously. These causes affect so many of us, and I want to do my part to raise awareness and support those who might be struggling. This campaign is especially close to my heart, as I’ve personally experienced the loss of a dear friend to mental health challenges. It’s a reminder of how important it is to talk, to listen, and to look out for one another. My mission this Movember is to help break the stigma — to remind men that it’s okay to open upand that my door will always be open for a chat.
Movember is a global movement that raises awareness and funds for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer.
Throughout the month, I’ll be documenting my journey — both the miles I run and the (hopefully impressive!) moustache I manage to grow. You’ll be able to follow along as I share updates, photos, and reflections on my social media, so keep an eye out for those posts!
This campaign means a lot to me, and any donation — big or small — would make a huge difference in supporting men’s health initiatives.
And this isn’t just my challenge — it’s an open invite! If you’d like to join me for a run, whether it’s just once or a few times during the month, drop me a message and we can arrange a time to get out there together. Everyone’s welcome, no matter your pace or experience.
Together, we can raise awareness, grow some questionable facial hair, and make a real impact for men everywhere.
