Bucks Students’ Union Statement
Bucks Students’ Union recognises that some of our members may understandably feel unsettled by the current political climate and the rise in far-right rhetoric on our streets and in our media.
There is no place for intolerance or divisive sentiments in a modern, inclusive society. We remain committed to working hard to ensure that everyone feels welcome and safe on our campuses and in our spaces, where all will be treated with respect and dignity.
We want to offer this message of support to our whole community. We are excited to welcome our new students from around the world, representing many different backgrounds and perspectives. This diversity is part of what makes universities such special and inspiring places.
