Have you heard of the 'Safe Place Scheme' or 'Ask For Angela'? Find out more with our new leaflets.
As part of Erin's student safety campaign, she has researched and created leaflets for the Safe Place Scheme and Ask For Angela, safety initiatives used nationally. These leaflets list places that are part of each scheme, and describe the schemes.
The Safe Place Scheme gives vulnerable people a place to go if they are feeling lost, scared or confused when out in their local community.
You will be looked after by people who care, and they will get help from someone you trust. All businesses that are part of the scheme will display a Safe Place sticker in their window.
The Ask for Angela campaign is a safeguarding initiative that allows individuals who feel unsafe, vulnerable, or threatened when on a date or in a social setting to discreetly alert venue staff
