'Tis the season for giving and what better way than with the classic Christmas hamper? This year your Vice President Student Involvement, Tom Featherstone, will be working alongside our student volunteers to create and deliver Christmas hampers to the elderly residents at Ryeview Manor Care Home, and they need your help. We are asking for students and staff to give what they can and bring in donations to help us create these festive hampers.
Tom Featherstone, "Any donations would be much appreciated, from a pack of shortbread right up to the iconic seasonal Quality Street tins. You can drop off your donations at the Students' Union reception at both the Uxbridge or High Wycombe Campuses. Our incredible festive elves (a.k.a student volunteers) will start work on the festive hampers pretty soon so we're asking that any donations are brought in by midday on Wednesday 8 December."
If you're a little stuck on what to donate, fear not! As is tradition, we've written a little list with a selection of toiletries and sweet treats:
