The end of the academic year means that all our fundraising events are over, the JustGiving page is closed, and the money has been counted. So now it's time to announce the total amount raised through our Raise and Give (RAG) programme this past year.
It's been an amazing year of fundraisers and student led events which has helped us to raise an incredible £12,770. Of that, £2,807 has been awarded to DrugFam and £2,689 has been awarded to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. These were the charities chosen by you to be our RAG Charities this year and both charities are very grateful for this donation.
We'd like to say a massive thank you to all students and staff who have got involved in fundraising for RAG this year. As we look forward to the next academic year, it's now time for us to start asking students and staff to nominate charities that are based in High Wycombe and/or Uxbridge that you would like to us fundraise for as our 2022-23 RAG charities. You'll be able to nominate your chosen charity on our website from Monday 1 August.
The nomination period is Monday 1 August to Wednesday 31 August, after which we will shortlist and open up the voting to see who will be chosen as our RAG charities.
