It’s been a year since we lost our dear friend and teammate, Obafemi ‘Femi’ Ogunde. Though time has passed, the pain of his absence is still deeply felt by everyone at Bucks Men’s Rugby.
Femi was more than just a teammate – he was a cherished friend, a source of laughter, energy, and kindness. His unique spirit brought people together, and the impact he had on all of us continues to resonate.
To honour his memory, we are hosting a Memorial Game in Femi’s name on 14 May at Marlow RFC (SL7 1QU), 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and spectate. If you'd like to book onto the free transport, please come into the SU Office and sign up on the sheets – or feel free to make your own way to the game.
At the match we will be asking for donations , all money raised will be going to Looseheadz.
Looseheadz is a Rugby Mental Heath Charity.
Our thoughts remain with Femi’s family and loved ones. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
