We will be working at our Community Wildflower Nursery!! There is no parking at the nursery so we are asking everyone to join us and get a lift from our depot
The vehicle will be leaving our depot at 12:55 pm. Unfortunately there isn't any free parking on Fennels Road, the car park costs 60p per hour or £2.60 a day - card or RINGO. The nearest postcode is HP11 1SL.
We will bring everyone back at approximately 3pm.
You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!
Task: The Wildflower Nursery is a lovely peaceful place to slow down and take time out from the business of life. Bring a picnic for a relaxed start of the session and then there will be a varied afternoon of plant care, making sure we have enough wildflowers to plant out across our other sites.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
12:55: Depart in our MPV or minibus to the nursery, please don't be late!
13.00: Arrival for a picnic
13:30 Safety briefing and start
14:45 Have a cuppa and then travel back to our depot to go home!
Access: The wildflower nursery is on flat ground and has good accessibility for all. A toilet is also available for use on site.
What to Bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny you may aslo want to bring sun cream.
Please bring plenty of fluids and don't forget your packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
