Laura Lexx

Laura Lexx is an actress, comedian, writer and Amused Moose Comedy Award finalist who performed her critically-acclaimed solo show, Tyrannosaurus Lexx, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2016.

Laura was nominated for Best Compere at the 2016 Chortle Awards. She was also shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014 and reached the finals of the Paramount Student Comedy Award, Chortle Student Comedy Award and Funny Women competitions. Laura has gigged all over the UK and in Europe as well as providing tour support for Russell Kane. Laura has performed at Latitude, Larmer Tree Festival, Bestival and Kendall Calling.

Laura studied Drama and Theatre at the University of Kent and received praise for her portrayal of Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest at the Brighton Fringe in 2013. She is also a member of the critically-acclaimed Comedians’ Cinema Club improv troupe.

As well as writing her own popular blog, Laura has had articles published by Glamour and Standard Issue. She has also written two stage plays, one of which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2011, as well as her first novel.

George Rigden

"Rigden is the result of a genetic mash-up between Mitch Benn and Tim Key, perhaps with a few strands of Ricky Gervais's DNA thrown in...Very Funny Stuff." - Steve Bennett, Chortle

Rigden’s musical comedy is deliciously dark...he is very good at working the crowd and of all tonight’s acts he probably made the biggest impression." - Bruce Dessau, beyond the joke

'George Rigden had the audience in his hands thanks to some great comedic timing, a little help from his guitar and a hint of David Mitchell in Peep Show' - Leicester Mercury

Jenny Collier

Jenny moved from the Welsh mountains to the Big Smoke in 2010 and has since embarked upon a career in stand up comedy. Highlight: Appearing on a BBC Radio Wales panel show with Jo Brand. Low point: After a gig, an audience member saying 'You should be a stripper' (Both secretly highlights).

She has written for BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz, Huffington Post and Glamour Magazine and has traveled (parts of) the world with her comedy. She has performed in Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland and most recently in Australia where she won the Percy Award for most tickets sold in 'The Imaginarium', (over 1900 tickets) during the Adelaide Fringe.

In August 2016 she performed her debut hour at the Edinburgh Fringe, 'Jen-Hur' which received reviews such as '????? An Excellent comedic work' - Edfest Mag and '???? A brilliant show and well worth a watch' - Arts Award Voice.
