The monthly night of all that is chilled returns for 2017 with Metaxas.
Metaxas is special. He's a once-in-a-generation talent who will permanently carve his folk & indie infused songs in to your psyche.
Born in New York to Cypriot parents, Metaxas is the eldest of four children. At the very young age of 3, Metaxas showcased a love for singing along to his Dad’s favorite records. After spending most of his younger years with his family living in Cyprus, he moved to America at the age of 21 to hone his craft.
With musical influences like Jeff Buckley, John Mayer and Gotye, it is no surprise that Metaxas has mastered a writing style that is honest, sensitive and encompassing. Mixing his raw expressive lyrics with his gravelled, yet warm voice, Metaxas produces a magical union that is nothing short of captivating.
After performing as part of our Coffee House Sessions - the Thursday lunchtime showcases in Beats - we were so impressed we had to have him back!
