In conjunction with #itsnotok awareness week and the SU #NeverOK campaign, staff and students are invited to a free screening of The Hunting Ground on 9 February from 4-6pm in the Gateway Lecture Theatre, High Wycombe campus. The documentary highlights the rape culture on some campuses in America and is an exposé of rape crimes, their institutional cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families.
The film has been shown at the White House and at hundreds of institutions all over the world. The documentary has inspired new laws in New York and California and changed on-campus policies. A Discussion will be taking place after the screening.
