This workshop will support you in increasing your awareness of safeguarding and protecting children, help you to recognise signs of abuse and poor practice and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise.
The session covers:
- Concerns / recent legal changes / industry incidents.
- Defining abuse Adults and Children - how they could present in a group.
- Possible indicators - what to look for.
- Trainer awareness - not only H&S but safeguarding.
- Disclosures - how to handle that conversation.
- Sharing - now we know, what do we do with it.
