Overview

Official figures show that the number of students to drop out of university with mental health problems has more than trebled in recent years. We want to empower our students to look after their mental health and to keep talking about it.

We are kicking off in Uxbridge on Monday 9th October, just one day before World Mental Health Day!

We have a vast array of activities to get involved in between 12pm and 2pm in Pulse –

It’s All In The Balance, a game where you can attempt to balance out different aspects of your life. Once you have a go, your name will be entered into a competition where you can win a giant inflatable lounger!

Biscuit Decorating, customise your biscuit with a green Mental Health Awareness ribbon!

Positive Post-Its, write a message of encouragement for you fellow students to hang on campus!

Trees of Life, an activity where you can make your very own pendant (takes approx 30-45mins) or various other beaded bits and bobs.

The Advice Centre on hand to talk about their services.
