Time Traveller Party (Create and Learn): 1pm - 4:15pm; Nottingham, Broadway Cinema; In 2009, Stephen Hawking hosted a time travellers' party. No one came. If we can’t outdo Hawking, we can at least have more fun!

Nottingham Independents' Castle Beer Festival (Friday): 5pm - 10pm; Nottingham, Nottingham Castle; The Nottingham Independents' Castle Beer Festival is back for 2026, and will see Nottingham’s independent breweries once again taking over the iconic Nottingham Castle for a weekend of great beer, local talent, and unbeatable views across the city.

Star Trek on the Big Screen (Create and Learn): 1pm - 4:15pm; Nottingham, Broadway Cinema; Across three hours, the course will explore the artistry, politics, and cultural legacy of the Star Trek films, from The Motion Picture through the beloved Wrath of Khan and First Contact, to J.J. Abrams’ glossy reboots and beyond

The Films of Stanley Kubrick (Create and Learn): 1pm - 4:15pm; Nottingham, Broadway Cinema; This course will examine what it means to describe Kubrick as an auteur, considering the visual and narrative signatures that unite his films from Dr. Strangelove to Eyes Wide Shut.
