About the role
We’re searching for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team at our beautiful centrally located Marlow Store. The perfect candidate will be passionate about interiors and excited to grow within their role. You'll be the friendly face of Arlo & Jacob, ensuring every customer has a 5-star experience in our showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Showroom Sales: Engage with customers, showcasing our beautiful sofas and helping them find the perfect piece for their home.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep knowledge of our product range and understand the technical aspects and customisation options available.
- Customer Experience: Be at the forefront of the customer journey, using your creative flair to ensure each customer leaves satisfied.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across teams to help achieve company sales targets and participate in events, promotions, and collaborations.
- Team Support: Embrace ad-hoc tasks with enthusiasm and flexibility, especially during key promotional times when weekend availability may be required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for Interiors: Ideal for candidates who are energised by new challenges and have a keen interest in interior design.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles; furniture or homewares experience is a plus.
- Sales: 1 year experience in customer sales would be advantageous
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and listening skills, with a friendly and positive demeanour.
- Organisational Skills: Strong administration skills, with the ability to work proficiently with technological systems.
- Weekend: Willingness to work weekends
