Every Campus Step Toward Better Life
I am standing for this role because I believe every student deserves a university experience that feels supportive, inclusive, and empowering. At Buckinghamshire New University a better life means being heard, respected, and given meaningful opportunities to grow, not only academically, but personally and professionally.
When I decided to run, I made a clear commitment. No student should feel overlooked, and no campus should feel secondary. Students at Uxbridge, Aylesbury, and our partner colleges share the same tuition fees, deadlines, and ambitions as those at High Wycombe. Yet the level of visibility, communication, and access to support does not always feel equal. That gap must be addressed with intention and action.
My slate, Every Campus Step Toward Better Life, focuses on practical improvements that strengthen daily student life. This is not about unrealistic promises. It is about consistent presence, honest conversations, and steady progress across all campuses.
Listening will be central to my leadership. I will actively engage with students in every location to understand their experiences, concerns, and ideas. Representation must reflect the diversity of our community. Different campuses have different needs, and student voices should shape the decisions that affect them.
If elected, I will work collaboratively with the Students’ Union and university leaders to strengthen communication and transparency. Students deserve clarity about available support, ongoing initiatives, and how to get involved. I will also champion wellbeing, inclusion, and initiatives that build belonging, especially for those who feel disconnected.
I bring accountability, collaboration, and commitment to delivery. My goal is simple. To ensure every campus matters, every voice counts, and every step moves us toward a stronger, more supportive BNU experience.
