Jazz for VPAB, One for All!

My name is Jasmine and as an active participant in the SU I know how important the clubs and societies can be to helping and developing students during their time at university. Taking part in the different opportunities helped me build confidence and create many great friendships and memories that I will carry forward as I graduate. As your VPAB it would be my biggest priority to make sure that the students union continues to be a supportive and accommodating environment for everyone.

Communication is important, as such I would make sure to keep you up to date on my work and any progress honestly and transparently so you can be assured I am doing my best to help students and meet my goals.

I would work to promote our volunteering opportunities so we can continue to give back to the community.

I would continue to promote both physical and mental wellbeing amongst the clubs and societies, as well as the wider student body.

I will also work to make sure that everyone is fairly represented including LGBTQIA+, disabled people, international students and other minorities.

If I was voted VPAB I would use my position to make sure that every student feels supported and seen, running events and campaigns to promote causes that are important to you.
