Real action, Real change, Real voice.

Re-elect Jean Marc for Students’ Union President 2026/27

Proven Delivery. Strong Partnerships. A Louder Student Voice.

Over the past year, my focus as President has been clear: listen to students, act on concerns, and deliver meaningful change. I am standing again because we have made significant progress together, and there is more to achieve to ensure every student feels represented, supported, and valued.

What We Delivered

A Stronger Student Voice

  • We strengthened our partnership with the University to ensure student feedback leads to action.
  • By working closely with Deans and senior leaders, We helped escalate course-related concerns early, preventing issues from becoming long-term barriers to learning.
  • We also collaborated with Accommodation and Communications teams to improve clarity and timeliness of key student information.

Culture, Inclusion, and Representation

  • I led the delivery of STRIVE for Black History Month in partnership with Training & Development and SU teams. Activities were student-led, meaningful, and properly resourced, celebrating culture while addressing real student experiences.

A More Effective Students’ Union

  • By improving collaboration across SU departments, we translated strategy into results. We strengthened transparency, efficiency, and accountability to ensure the SU consistently delivers in students’ best interests.

Lower Costs and Better Value

  • We worked with Student Voice Officers and external partners to improve services such as Circuit Laundry, with further developments ongoing.
  • I also introduced a student-friendly budget booklet to help students manage finances more confidently.

More impactful projects are already in progress  and the next term will see them delivered.

Why I’m Running Again

This year demonstrated that proactive, collaborative leadership delivers results. If re-elected, We will continue embedding student voice in decision-making, improving value for money, strengthening wellbeing and safety, and responding swiftly and transparently to student concerns.

Together, we have delivered progress. Now let’s deliver even more.

Vote Jean Marc for Students’ Union President 2026/27.
