I am standing for election as Student Trustee at Bucks students' union because I believe student voices must shape the decisions that shape our future. At BNU, we are a diverse community of home and international students, and our representation should reflect that strength and diversity.

As your Student Trustee, I will act as a clear and committed link between students and the University Board. I will actively listen to concerns across all courses and campuses, gather feedback, and ensure student perspectives are presented confidently and consistently in decision-making spaces. Students deserve transparency, and I will communicate openly about the issues that directly impact our academic experience and university life.

I will advocate for high-quality teaching, fair assessments, accessible academic resources, and stronger student support services. Success at university is not just academic; it includes wellbeing, financial stability, and a sense of belonging. I will push for improved mental health support, clearer communication around university policies, and initiatives that promote balance and opportunity for all students.

As part of United Beyond Borders, I am committed to ensuring that both home and international students feel equally supported and represented. Our diversity is one of BNU’s greatest strengths, and I will champion equality, inclusion, and respect across our campus community.

Leadership requires accountability. I will approach this role with integrity, responsibility, and determination to ensure that student voices are not only heard, but acted upon.

My goal is simple: a stronger, more inclusive BNU where every student feels empowered.
