This is an external event and you will need to sign up to the eventbrite as well.
We will be working at Funges Meadow. Meet us onsite at 10am at the gated entrance on Bowden Lane. There isn't much parking available on Bowden Lane, and residents may get upset if you park there. There is free parking on Keep Hill Road, or paid parking is available at the Rye. The nearest postcode is: HP11 1DL.
W e will finish at approximately 3.30pm.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Today we will be tidying the forest school area: cutting, raking, litter picking and more. Come and join us at this hidden nature spot.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival on site for safety briefing, please don’t be late!
11.30: Tea & coffee break, we will bring a tea kit and biscuits
13.00: Lunch, please bring your own (30 minutes)
15.30: Work finishes for the day, time to go home
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and suncream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
