SHAUNAGH BROWN
Shaunagh Brown is a trail-blazing former England rugby prop who won 30 caps
and back-to-back Grand Slams before retiring in 2022. A 2014 Commonwealth
Games hammer-thrower, qualified commercial diver, firefighter and now full time
keynote speaker and host, she has built a career on challenging expectations.
Shaunagh draws on her eclectic journey - from a Peckham council house to
a Rugby World Cup final - to deliver powerful talks on leadership, resilience
and inclusion, helping teams turn adversity into competitive advantage. She is
regularly featured by BBC Sport for her outspoken advocacy of women’s sport
and racial diversity.
JORDAN ABANKWAH
Jordan is a designer, workshop facilitator, and creative producer working across
arts, culture, and community engagement, primarily in east London. He attended
Bucks New University from 2014 to 2017, studying BA Graphic Arts. He was a
senior resident at Hughenden and went on to design for the creative industries’
end of year show, winning the 2017 Student Prize. He’s worked on projects
with organisations such as the Barbican, UCL East, Blackhorse Workshop, and
Arts Council England - designing and delivering workshops, exhibitions, and
community-led events that centre co-design, accessibility, and participatory art.
His practice involves immersing himself in the creative industry, allowing him
to bring that expertise to local spaces, bringing him to work on everything from
murals to West End. He is currently producing poetry workshops and events for
young people and marginalised communities.
PETER ASHIAGBOR
Peter Ashiagbor is an entrepreneur, finance professional, and community builder
with a passion for empowering student founders to bring bold ideas to market.
As a Director of Kickstart, Peter is shaping the future of student entrepreneurship
in the UK by building platforms, tools, and communities that help young people
transform research, ideas, and ambition into viable ventures. Peter’s journey
reflects a blend of academic excellence, professional discipline, and visionary
entrepreneurship. Beyond finance, Peter’s entrepreneurial efforts focus on
creating structures that make entrepreneurship more accessible. His platform’s
aim is to remove barriers for first-time founders, particularly those from
non-Russell Group universities, by giving them access to frameworks and
insights usually reserved for more experienced entrepreneurs.
