Join Buckinghamshire New University’s talented Level 5 and 6 BA (Hons) Musical Theatre students for their annual full scale musical production.
A vibrant, feel good show that promises an evening of laughter, heart and high energy.
This year’s production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, is directed by the acclaimed Steven Harris, with musical direction by AJ Gibson and choreography by Jo Roots.
Set in a quirky middle school gymnasium, the musical follows a lovable group of misfit students as they compete for the ultimate prize – the spelling bee championship title.
With catchy songs, hilarious dialogue and unexpected twists, the show celebrates individuality, resilience and the awkward charm of adolescence. Each character brings their own unique flair to the competition, resulting in a fast paced, laugh out loud experience that also tugs at the heartstrings.

There is level access to the front of and throughout the building and a disabled toilet facility.
